 During my time working for Audit Scotland, one of my responsibilities was the design of 'Abacus' their staff newsletter. My job was to make it look as appealing as possible, and to sub-edit to make the articles reader-friendly.

While working for George Watson's College (Scotland's largest independent school) between 2001 and 2004, I designed a range of brochures, newsletters and other marketing materials. These included Caritas the Alumni magazine, Recorder the newsletter for parents, pupils and staff, brochures for rugby tours and concerts and prospectus materials. When I left their employment I received the following commendation in their end of year magazine Watsonian "His ability to create original and exciting designs was exceptional... he will be difficult to replace as he has set such high standards."
